The SCRIP fundraising program at St. Patrick Catholic Church is a way to contribute financial support to our parish simply by doing your regular, day to day shopping.
SCRIP cards are gift cards that are purchased by the church at a discount and sold to parishioners at full face value. By using SCRIP cards instead of cash, check, or credit to buy groceries, fill your gas tank, go out to eat, or see a movie, etc., you send a small percentage of each of those purchases to a fund that supports the general operating budget and debt reduction for our parish. And that small percentage can add up fast as more and more parishioners participate!
SCRIP cards are sold before and after weekend Mass, and orders are ready for pick-up the following weekend. Stop by our booth in the Gathering Space to learn more about how SCRIP works and to see a list of local companies that participate in the program.
The SCRIP ministry also welcomes volunteers who would like to help with the program. Volunteers are needed to help in one or more of the following areas:
- Sell SCRIP before and after weekend Masses
- SCRIP pick-up from local merchants
- Help fill SCRIP orders on Fridays
- Attendance at monthly meetings
- Training provided
