Dear Parishioners,

On May 1, I completed five years here as the pastor of St. Patrick’s. It has been five beautiful years. This is a great parish to be at and I believe it keeps getting better every year. That’s because more people are getting involved in the life of the community. Active participation in all aspects of parish life helps us become more grounded in our faith in the Risen Christ.  Today, I encourage and challenge you to be active in the life of this wonderful community of faith!

God has poured out on us many blessings, but they are not only for ourselves. Jesus said, “From everyone who has been given much, much will be expected…” Lk 12:48.

Time is defined as time spent in Prayer. There are many ways to offer our praise to God. The pledge form lists some to choose from.

Talents are the skills and gifts that we have been given to share.  Please indicate those that you can offer to your parish if they are needed. Volunteering helps one become a better steward of their parish.

Treasure is defined as the material gifts that each of us has been blessed with. Instead of giving to a “need,” we actually have a need to give!  And…in our giving we are blessed!   This part of the form will be separated in the parish office and kept confidential. If you choose to give electronically, a form is available here.

Wherever you are in these areas, ask the Lord for wisdom on how to take a step “up the ladder” to be a faithful steward of all the Lord has entrusted to you. If you have not been highly active at St. Patrick’s I ask that you please become an active member.  A great way to begin is by making this simple pledge.

Please return the pledge form in the enclosed envelope as soon as you can.  It will save our contact team from making a follow up call. Thank you for your support and please pray for the success of our Stewardship Renewal.

Sincerely,

Fr. David Blume
