The Knights of Columbus
is a worldwide fraternal Catholic family service organization. Founded over 125 years ago, the Order is guided by the four core principles of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. Since its founding, the organization has grown from a single council to more than 14,000 councils and 1.8 million members around the world. The Knights of Columbus has been called “the strong right arm of the Church” and praised by popes, presidents and world leaders for their support of the Church, community involvement, and aid to the needy.
Knights of Columbus members are Catholic men, age 18 years or older. We are men of faith, guided not only by our belief in God, but in our belief in each other and ourselves. Our local council at the Church of St. Patrick holds some fundraising events each year for the church and also donates our time and treasure to other community organizations. Working together is an opportunity to enjoy a good time with our brother Knights.
Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month in addition to other activities that are planned throughout the year. There is a $30/year membership fee.
