Kateri, age 19, of Andover, went to the Lords open arms on March 2, 2012. Loved and treated as a gifted and intelligent person since her adoption into the Prenosil family at the age of one year old. Kateri was of Native American ancestry and severely disabled since birth. She attended home based schooling through Anoka Hennepin. She learned to communicate with "yes and No" eye movements. Her communication ability profoundly moved her family, teacher (Cheri McQuay), and care givers. Kateri exemplified her faith through a life that changed so many other lives. She received the Sacraments of the Holy Eucharist and Confirmation and encouraged others to pray with her daily. Survived by parents, Margaretn and Joseph Prenosil; sisters, Peggy Ployhar, Missy Juncosa; borthers, Joseph Jr., Daniel, Robert, Nicholas, Trevor and Kevin; primary care giver, Cathy Cunningham.

February 18, 2012 - John Nicholas Cox
John Cox, age 80, of Cambridge, MN and formerly of Cedar, MN, passed away on 
Sunday night, February 12, 2012 at Grace Point Crossing. He was born on December 26, 1931, the son of Herbert and Elizabeth (Altman) Cox. John retired as a supervisor at Federal Cartridge. He was preceded in death by his brother Gerald and is survived by his sisters, Mildred Gallagher and Marie Highberg; brother, Bill Cox; many nieces and nephews and their families; extended family and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held for John at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 18 at the Church of St Patrick. Visitation at church one hour prior to Mass. Interment will follow in St Patrick's Cemetery.

People remember Jo Pritchard as the women with a heart of gold.
Passed away on December 11, 2011 at the age of 86. Jo was born March 19, 1925 to Martin and Katherine Maksymow. She married George Pritchard June 14, 1947.
She is preceded in death by daughter, Diane; sisters, Dorothy Miller and Amelia Thielen; niece, Jean Hamann.
Survived by loving husband of 64 years, George; daughter, Darlene (Ted) Veit; granddaughters, Lisa and Laura Veit; many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 16, 2011 at St Patrick's Church.
Visitation Thursday 3:00 - 6:00 PM at Gearhart Anoka Funeral Home, 552 East River Road, Anoka and one hour prior to Mass at church. Interment Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids.

When construction began on the new church in 1976, Jo and George opened up their home and gave up their basement to St. Patrick's for office space at no charge. Fr. Donohue, Sr. Mary Martin and Sharon Murray, Administrator all had offices and full use of the kitchen until the new space was completed. Pritchard's provided all that they needed.
Jo was on various committees and a member of the women's group. She was willing to help with any and all parish activities in a very hospitable manner.
