INTRODUCTION
Circles of Claddagh is a women's
ministry group designed to allow women of Saint Patrick's Church an
opportunity to grow in their faith, foster friendships, and serve the
church and community. Circles
of Claddagh is comprised of five individual circles, representing the
general areas where the members reside: “Be” Attitudes, St. Angela,
St. Bridget, Women of the Celtic Cross, and Mother Teresa (day circle).
Circles of Claddagh is governed by an
Advisory Board comprised of officers elected annually by the women of
the parish, and co-coordinators from each of the five circles.
With the approval of the Advisory Board, each Circle of Claddagh
may sponsor community and/or church-wide events and reports to the
Advisory Board on a quarterly basis. The Advisory Board is responsible for sending a
representative to report to the Parish Council on a quarterly basis, or
as needed. Each Circle of
Claddagh may hold meetings and social gatherings among their members as
often as they choose.
All women of the parish are welcome to
join the Circles of Claddagh or just help out with an event.
They may join the circle closest to where they live or the one
that meets their schedule or interests.
