Many people would like to sing as part of Music Ministry,
but their schedules do not allow them to commit to a weekly practice. In
pairings of three or four, cantors sing when the choir is not scheduled.
They rehearse one hour prior to their scheduled Mass with no rehearsal
commitment required; though preparation on your own is greatly appreciated. Cantors
can pick up music for the weekend they are scheduled to sing so they may learn
it on their own. Tapes or CDs of the music are available; all you have to
do is ask for it. So if you still want to sing but can’t make practice every
week, then Cantor Ministry is for you.
